A lovely aquamarine ring by Crosby a 1950s jewelry maker. This ring has a round aquamarine set in 10k yellow gold setting. It would make a unique engagement ring or great promise ring.
FYI on Aquamarines - The March birthstone and the 19th Anniversary Stone
This ring is from an estate sale and I did have this ring checked for the authenticity of the stones and the metal so I do guarantee the stones, metal and age.
Main Stones: Aquamarine (most likely heat treated) - 1
Heat Treating FYI - I am against most altering treatments of stones because most treatments are used to make a stone seem better than it is. However, I do not have this opinion on heat treating aquamarines which is only used to bring out different and brighter colors. For this reason this is the only type of treated stone I sell
Size: Approximately 6.5 mm - 1.31 Carats
Metal: 10K Yellow Gold
Markings: 10k - Crosby (jewelry maker)
Ring Size: US 6 1/4 and this ring can be sized
Weight: 1.87 grams
Condition: Good Vintage - There is a prong that has lost it's tip. The stone is completely secure and this ring has been priced accordingly if a buyer would want to have the prong fixed. The band and stone are in excellent condition.
